Long Life with Good Life Noodles

Long Life with Good Life Noodles

Asians typically associate noodles for long life. That is why in gatherings, good food is not complete without noodles or “pancit”. Although there are a lot of brands in the supermarket, but I am still in search for a much better quality in terms of taste and firmness.

Last Saturday, my husband was not so busy so he decided to cook the noodles sent by Fly Ace Corporation to mommy bloggers of Davao Bloggers Society. Fly Ace Corporation has several varieties of noodles available in the market today including vermicelli, pancit canton and bihon. He made a pancit canton-bihon combination with pork and veggies. Although he tried other brands before, he observed that Good Life noodles were really firm and tastier than others.

Well, that is because Good Life Noodles are made with premium ingredients and advanced techniques for noodles that are tastier, healthier, and yield more. The bihon is made from premium potato starch making it firm to the bite, shiny and crystal-like. The pancit canton is made from wheat flour and eggs and is steam-dried, not fried that’s why it is healthier!

Indeed, the pancit tasted so good! It was not just because of the cooking skills of my husband but because of the fine ingredients like the Good Life noodles. The next time I will buy noodles for family occasions or even just ordinary days, I will trust no other brands but only Good Life.

Record-breaking Giant Holiday Tree

Record-breaking Giant Holiday Tree

It is the time of the year again where we can hear Christmas songs, see colorful decors hanging and receive our bonuses! Yes, Christmas is here. In Tagum City, Christmas spirit is felt more or less every third week of November, before the city fiesta, where there is a ceremonial lighting of the giant Christmas tree.

Last November 16, 2016 was indeed a memorable event where the LGU Tagum City once again lighted its Giant Holiday Tree, a record-breaking 172.5 feet, the tallest in the country! It stood in front of the New City Hall Building.

Of course, people flocked during that day to witness the event. There was a short program, sing and dance presentations and the much awaited fireworks! It was really a holiday feel for everyone.

The Giant Holiday Tree is an additional attraction of the vicinity where people come to just stroll around the City Hall everyday or do their usual activities like sitting around with friends and family, chitchatting, taking pictures, walking or jogging around. But because of the Giant Holiday Tree, there are vendors of different stuff like food, drinks, balloons and toys.

The New City Hall area is now a must-go and must-see in Tagum City and the tree will stand until the last week of January 2017.
